Dr. Peter Saccio is the Leon D. Black Professor of Shakespearean Studies and Professor of English Emeritus at Dartmouth College, where he has been recognized with the J. Kenneth Huntington Memorial Award for Outstanding Teaching. He earned his Ph.D. from Princeton University and has also held visiting professorships at Wesleyan University and University College London. An esteemed scholar, Dr. Saccio is the author of the acclaimed book *Shakespeare’s English Kings* and has edited Thomas Middleton’s comedy *A Mad World, My Masters* for the Oxford Complete Works of Thomas Middleton. In addition to his academic contributions, Dr. Saccio is a skilled actor and theatrical director, known for directing productions of *Twelfth Night*, *Macbeth*, and *Cymbeline*, as well as presenting various scenes from Shakespeare and modern British drama. His acting repertoire includes notable Shakespearean roles such as Casca, Angelo, Bassanio, and Henry IV.
