Ross King, a Canadian novelist and non-fiction writer born on July 16, 1962, in Estevan, Saskatchewan, has made significant contributions to historical literature. He began his career in the 1990s with notable works of historical fiction before transitioning to non-fiction, where he garnered critical acclaim and commercial success with titles such as "Michelangelo and the Pope's Ceiling" and "Brunelleschi’s Dome." A graduate of the University of Regina with a Master's in English Literature and a Ph.D. from York University focusing on eighteenth-century literature, King later moved to England for a post-doctoral fellowship at University College, London.
