Hilborn also represented Minneapolis at the adult National Poetry Slam in 2011, where the team finished fifth among 80 competitors from across the nation. His poem "OCD" became a sensation after going viral in August 2013, amassing over 7 million views on YouTube and establishing him as a prominent voice in contemporary poetry.
